Nirvana Beauty & Day Spa has teamed up with Action Cancer to help raise funds and awareness for the 'Breast cancer awareness campaign'. This campaign will be highlighted with the use of a very pretty Art Cow called 'Sonia' .A full size cow replica has been painted by a local artist Stephen Todd in pink and white. The resulting Art Cow will be seen travelling around the Coleraine Borough in a trailer in a bid to raise awareness for the campaign.
Nirvana currently exhibits three full size 'Art Cows' its grounds which cause much amusement making customers to feel relaxed even before they have experienced their luxurious spa treatment. Art Cows were initially exhibited in Chicago and have now been exhibited in Cities all over the World. Nirvana liked the idea so much that three cows were commissioned in a variety of crazy paint schemes. 'By decorating something as common place as a cow it makes the artwork totally remarkable. People are so used to seeing cows it takes a second for them to realize that our cows are in fact, Art Cows. The response has been terrific with many customers of Nirvana wanting to purchase the Art Cows for their own gardens.

Many women still appear to be oblivious to the danger of not checking for signs regularly and this campaign is a polite way to remind everyone of the threat. Action Cancer do wonderful work both in raising awareness and helping sufferers through the condition.
