A. Yes you can book a therapist's time. She will help you chose when you get to Nirvana however we recommend you book a treatment or spa therapy beforehand so you spend as much of your time relaxing!

A. Men have pretty much what women have. Nirvana's 'Ultimate Aromatherapy massage is a powerful full body massage which is a particular favourite with men. The Rasul Steam & Mud ceremony is also very popular especially with a small group of men as it seems to break down barriers. Many go on to have full body massages, seaweed baths and even facials.

A. Yes Nirvana attracts about 30% of its customers from the male population. Surprisingly it is hard to see whether the other customers are male or female as they tend to be in individual treatment rooms. There are dedicated changing rooms so no one need be shy.

A. Glad to hear about your news, no problem Nirvana offers three specific 'Mother To Be Packages' and most of the other treatments can be taken until your 8 months. If your voucher doesn't suit your schedule, don't worry, gives us a call and explain the situation, we will be more than happy to change the date to suit. If you want to leave it till after your babies arrival just let us know. We will sort it.

A. As firm or light as you prefer. Your therapist will ask you before and during the massage if you are comfortable.

A. Absolutely we can take a look at your skin and give you the correct advice for you and your lifestyle needs.

A. Yes Nirvana has specific treatments to help improve your skin and well being. Make sure you discuss your condition with either the receptionist or your therapist so they can guide you in treatment choice.

A. Nirvana is proud to say that it has many customers with a wide range of disabilities. Our staff will be more than happy to accommodate most customer's specific requirements. Just let us know.

A. Most of our treatments are available for physically disabled customers. Give us a call to discuss your specific treatment request and if we feel the treatment may not ideal we will advise you of what is possible. Nirvana prides itself on having many disabled customers who find our staff kind and considerate, never patronising. We also ask customers who have a physical disability to be aware of the potential limitations.

A. No, we will discuss any health issues with you upon arrival and ensure you have the appropriate Spa snack or fruit juice. Just let us know as finding you in a coma can be traumatic.

A. Outside, if you really must. Nirvana, like all other businesses since April 2007, is totally smoke free.

A. As long as you are not intending to drive afterwards and don't get drunk we will allow you to celebrate. If your manner or volume becomes unacceptable then unfortunately the party will be over. We have other guest's to think of. We want everyone to enjoy their visit.

A. Sorry, no. Our Staff are shy and we don't wish to embarrass you or them with any unnecessary exposure.

A. No you are welcome to wear your own underwear as long as it is not precious because some of the oils, clays and body polishes will stain fabric.

A. Very common question, answer depends on whether your treatment requires a shower before hand. We generally ask if you are having a body massage to have a quick shower in the changing room before your massage. You will be supplied with disposable underwear for the duration of your treatment. These can be worn during water treatments and in the shower if you are modest.

A. Definitely not. We will try and establish your requirements and certainly try and help you get into an appropriate skin care regime. We do try an encourage you to re-book simply because time seems to fly past and our customers simply don't get round to re-booking as often as they would like. By sticking something in the diary you know you have a treat to look forward to.

• You will be greeted by a friendly smiling receptionist who will confirm your arrival in the appointment book. A quick health questionnaire is filled in to ensure you have the very best attention.

• You will then be shown to the changing rooms with a pair of funky Croc shoes, a fluffy white robe and our sexy disposable pants.

• Your therapist will collect you in the hallway and take you to either the chill out room or directly to your treatment room.

• They will explain clearly what the procedure is. Feel free to ask if you are uncertain at any point. (Make sure you use the loo because mid -treatment darts may ruin your experience.) Your therapist will give you a quick overview of the treatment and what products are being used.

• Some customers talk, some choose to be silent. Your therapist will be friendly regardless of how much you rabbit on. Our advice is to relax, enjoy the peace.

• If at any time you would like a glass of water or are feeling dizzy, tell your therapist and they will try and help you.

• Our aim is to please so let us know if anything is unsettling you. All our therapists are highly trained and they prefer it if customers let them know about any issues during the treatment.

• After your treatment is over your therapist will show you to the 'Chill out Room' where you recline on a lounger for about ten minutes. Some of the treatments can leave you feeling so relaxed that you are light headed. Please don't book a strenuous activity afterwards as you might not have the energy. You are then free to make your way to the changing room if this is your only treatment, if not relax and your therapist will collect you.

• In the changing room you will find shampoo & conditioner along with a hair drier.

• Glide out to reception

• You will be asked to fill in a simple visitor satisfaction card which is then entered into a monthly draw. If you have enjoyed your visit please say so, it lifts staff morale.

• On the other hand if something was not quite as you would have expected it, please let us know as your satisfaction is our ultimate goal.
  

A. You can bring spare underwear or swimming garments if you are reluctant to wear our disposable underwear. Bring some form of payment, credit card, cheque or cash. Most importantly allow yourself time to visit and time afterwards to enjoy the feeling.

A. Yes, Nirvana welcomes couples and groups of all sizes. We have a 'Couples Room' where you can enjoy your treatment with your friend or partner, just make sure you let us know in advance at the time of booking and we will sort it out for you.

A. Our aim at Nirvana is to make your visit as comfortable as possible. There are dedicated same sex changing rooms or if you wish it is possible to change in your treatment room. Just ask our friendly staff if you have specific requirements.

A. All our staff are highly trained in customer care. Your comfort is paramount. You will be greeted with a smile and treated with the utmost of dignity during your visit regardless of which treatment you are experiencing.

A. No, you can book a Spa therapy such as a seaweed bath £30, hydrotherapy £35,Hydrojet £25,or a Rasul Steam Ceremony £35. Spa treatments start at £30 for an Ayurvedic Head Massage and facials from £50 upwards. You can pay by cheque, credit card or cash.

A. Yes, you might get really lucky by calling in but it is very unlikely that a room and a therapists will be free. Give us a call or call to book a convenient time. Nirvana is open 9.30am - 9.00pm Mon - Frid and 9.30am - 5.30pm Sat

A. Nirvana Spa offers a full range of relaxing treatments for Men and Women. You can experience a body massage, facial or head massage. Alternatively you can use one of our Spa therapies to relax. We offer Seaweed baths, hydrotherapy, steam & mud, Chocolate baths and hydro massage.

A. Yes Nirvana can give you the perfect gift. The voucher can be issued for a specific treatment or to any value you wish to indulge the recipient to.
